Who we are

Doodle Rescue USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming doodle-breed dogs. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to run the rescue — and we never sell personal information.

Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, chosen topic, and message, so we can respond to you.
• Donations: your name, email address, donation amount, and any honoree name you provide. Card numbers never touch our systems — payment details are entered directly with our payment processor (CardPointe) and are never stored by us.
• Technical basics: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.

How we use information

• Responding to your inquiries and applications.
• Processing donations and emailing receipts.
• Keeping the financial records a non-profit is required to keep.
• Protecting the site and our forms from abuse.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data.

Cookies & tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. The only third-party technology on our forms is Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check that protects the contact and donation forms; it is strictly necessary for security and does not track you across the web. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for consent first.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers that make the site work, and only for that purpose:

• Vercel — website hosting
• Supabase — our secure database
• Cloudflare — form security (Turnstile)
• CardPointe — donation payment processing
• Our email delivery provider — receipts and notifications

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Retention

Inquiries are kept while we work with you and for a reasonable period afterward. Donation records are kept as required for non-profit financial and tax record-keeping. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where the law allows). Email info@doodlerescueusa.org and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

Our website is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, stored in access-controlled systems, and card data is handled exclusively by our payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we design ours so that the most sensitive data — your card number — never reaches us at all.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and revise the date at the top of the page.
